Reflecting on Easter

Our Christmas tree, still ringing with the promise and the celebration of an awaited messiah… became stripped, was made bare and turned into a cross of death and shame.. But renewed again on Easter morning, as a vision of new life, it became adorned with flowers, the bright heralds of a radiant and beguiling spring. New life, new surprises. The Greening Thatcham campaign was launched on Saturday 15th May 2010 and now challenge cards are being distributed to every home in Thatcham. These cards list eight straightforward things that everyone can do in their homes to reduce CO2 emissions or conserve resources.  Look out for yours and see if you can help to make Thatcham a greener town. We thought it would be helpful to share with you the vision for the Oxford Diocese which is being implemented over the coming years.
