Sarah – Mission Update (April)

April 2013
Dear friends,
April has been an exciting month! A lady became a Christian at the Friday night outreach and I had the privilege of praying with her : )
I have also completed a language and linguistics course as part of my training. This involved learning some German and Welsh amongst other things! The main idea being to learn the best ways to learn language so that when we’re on field we have the tools and the skills we need. It was all very interesting and I’m feeling much more confident …

Christian Aid Lent Lunches every Friday

Every Friday at 12.30 at the Methodist Church Thatcham from 15th February – 22nd March and then at St Mary’s on Good Friday 29th March.
Come for soup, bread and cheese followed by coffee, all for a donation to Christian Aid.
ALL AGES WELCOME
DID YOU KNOW…. The amount rich countries spend on dog food is the almost the same as the amount needed to eradicate world hunger and malnutrition.
