Please join us in our Annual Celebration in St Mary’s church. This is a joint service with St Barnabas.
Once again we will be supporting ‘Feed the Children‘
Donations of Pasta and Rice, Pulses welcome, (in packets not tins please, with date order and at least 6 months).
Plus knitted blankets etc.

It can be a daunting experience to enter an unfamiliar church for the first time. Being new as Team Rector is rather different from that normal experience of not quite knowing which books to use or where to sit. The Revd. Mark Bennet was inducted and installed at St Mary’s on Thursday 1st September at 7.30 pm. It was a service of great celebration!

After the comings and goings of the last few months Marion and I decided it would be fun to write this article together because together we certainly are! I got the idea for the title while I was at Derreck Lee-Philpot’s ordination at the beginning of July. Some of us joined Derreck’s friends and family at a hotel afterwards to celebrate this momentous event in his life.
