Many of you will recall the Making Connections event of a couple of years ago when we connected with areas in the community where we had special interests. This year we are doing something similar with a Flower Festival which will take place in church between the 10th and 13th of June.
The theme will be The King James Bible, and each arrangement will reflect a passage from the bible, starting with creation in Genesis and ending with Revelation.

What a spectacular event!!
An inspirational celebration of 400 years of the Authorised Bible, Pentecost Sunday and 5 years of St Barnabas.

Well done, and huge thanks to all involved in this wonderful community event.. and especially warm thanks to Marion who managed to guide the whole Festival and make it happen.
The festival was made of 17 large displays put together by people from different community groups throughout Thatcham for example, WI, Kennet school, Thatcham Park school, Guides, U3A, Rotary etc.
