Church Electoral RollThe Church electoral roll is the foundation of the whole structure of synodical government in the church. It contains the names and addresses of everyone who can vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting. This is the basic list in every parish of all those entitled to vote on elections within the Church of England. Those entitled to have their names on this roll have to be 16 years of age or more and they must reside in the parish or be regular worshippers in the church whose roll they wish to join. The roll is completely renewed every six years, at which point all members have to re-apply for membership. Please download the Application for Enrolment on the Church Electoral Roll, complete it and send or take it to St. Mary’s, or St. Barnabas. Ideally, the form should be completed in readiness for the Annual Parish Church Meeting. The date and time of the APCM is announced in the What’s On Pages. Additional information is available from the Diocese of Oxford web site. |
